Where the problem is; there lies the solution.

In other words: where we perceive snake, there lies the chances of finding the rope, of course, when looked for.

It’s the falsity of ego that has to be understood and not an attempt of ending it.

Components of ego have to be dismantled and then examined; its metallurgy has to be understood. We can then separate the ones made of base metal from the ones made out of precious metal.

Ego can go on (and does) but by discovery of its false nature. But it loses its potency to be a source of conflict and misery, and our grudge with ego is that it is a constant nuisance. It’s likened to a snake without fangs and venom.
