No one else, is.

No one to converse, as,
No one will understand,
And conversations are silent.

Without doors or walls,
A house be build, with,
No one to watch over,
No one to look after.

If ill health besets,
No one to nurse.
When death takes over,
No one will mourn.

Translation of Mirza Ghalib’s short and beautiful couplets:

रहिये अब ऐसी जगह चलकर, जहाँ कोई न हो
हम सुख़न कोई न हो और हम ज़ुबाँ कोई न हो
रहिये अब ऐसी जगह

बेदर-ओ-दीवार सा इक घर बनाना चाहिए
कोई हमसाया न हो और पासबाँ कोई न हो
रहिये अब ऐसी जगह

पड़िए गर बीमार, तो कोई न हो तीमारदार
और अगर मर जाइए, तो नौहाख़्वाँ कोई न हो
रहिये अब ऐसी जगह


I’ve taken resonable liberty while translating these couplets.
